1. Bradford violated so many rules, I don't know where to begin

As a professor at IU Law School, I can safely assume that Bradford is a licensed attorney, even if he is not practicing law but teaching it.

At a minimum, Bradford appears to have violated Rule 8.4(c), of the Indiana Rules of Professional Conduct. Rule 8.4(c) states:

Rule 8.4. Misconduct

It is professional misconduct for a lawyer to:

<snip>

(c) engage in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation;

These rules apply to an attorney's conduct, even when the conduct is not related to the practice of law.

I think I will file a complaint with the Indiana Supreme Court Disciplinary Commission and let them investigate this matter.

I found the article amusing, given the growing "hunt for Red October"/intellectuals. It seems like other areas, Indiana is a test market for such a thing.
