State Sues Marion County Over Foster Care Payments

Some Foster parents have already decided to return their foster children to the state. My sister currently has one child and she has received a call today to get another child that was turned back in. The number of Foster parents before this was too low one can imagine what this situation will do.

1. I foster in Marion county in Indiana

We have had no problem with foster care payments. We are a few months from adopting a 4 year old and 1 year old sibling pair and would never think of "returning" them for stopped payment...unbelievable

2. Not everyone Fosters for the right reason.

There are some who may want to give children a good home but they still need the payments to be able to do so.

But there are others who only foster for the money. We consider the Foster children in our family to be members of our family so if it was an issue where the check was needed we would all chip in. Fosterage isn't something everyone should do.
