Not quite what they thought they were going to get into when they first enlisted. More Hoosiers in harm's way!

Army calls up Evansville reservists
Associated Press
EVANSVILLE, Ind. — A southwestern Indiana Army Reserve unit soon will deploy to support combat troops assigned to Iraq, officers said.
Maj. Alan Jochem, executive officer of the 406th Corps Support Battalion, said the reserve soldiers based in Evansville might be called on to deliver supplies to Army and Marine combat troops.
Commander Lt. Col. James R. Carmean, citing security reasons, would not say how many men and women will be deployed, but said almost all of the 406th would participate. He declined to say whether the troops would be sent to Iraq.
Soldiers will depart in August for premobilization training at Camp Atterbury, about 35 miles south of Indianapolis, he said.
