Indiana party goofed, leader says, didn't buy seats at sellout luncheon featuring Bush.


Eli Lilly and Co. bought 18 tables. Gov. Mitch Daniels' office bought four. The city of Indianapolis had five tables, and Mayor Bart Peterson's office had one. The Indiana Democratic Party bought one, too.

And the Indiana Republican Party, which is trying to improve its outreach to black voters?

Messer didn't offer excuses for the oversight. The party just goofed, he said.

Maybe they were told he was and then he changed his plans. Who knows, but too bad, they have leftovers of their faces. :D
