Every time he finds himself up in this corner of the world, Our Bitch Mitch just HAS to stop and have a steak at Hendrick's "Top Notch" bar and grill.

Whatever, Mitch, St. Moritz beats the shit out of Hendricks, but St. Moritz didn't raise heavy coin for your campaign, did they?

I've eaten there once. The steak, I could have grilled one just as good myself. The "trimmings"? Huge fucking disappointment. Bagged salad, fries and rolls from Gordon's.
After I found out that the owner was bucking for "Bush Pioneer" I swore never to eat there again...The dismal food just makes it easier.

1. Wait a minute...
...are you talking about Top Notch in Brookston? Or is there another one in Fowler or something? I ask 'cause I'm from right next door - White county (Monticello) and my brother lives in Brookston.

2. Yep. the very same one.
Everytime Mitch comes up into this part of the world, he stops and has a steak and woos the Party Faithful there.

My girlfriend took me there for my birthday a few years ago, and franky, I enjoy the food at Arni's better.

Don't think Arni was a wingnut either...

4. I thought so.
I thought I remembered him going there right before election time (or maybe right after he was elected?). I've never eaten there before, so I wouldn't know, but I'll take your word for it. And the fact that the owner's a wingnut will make it that much easier to avoid it.

3. Hey nice to see you neighbor!
I'm from Logansport! Not many active Dems around here. It's nice to know there's one around! :)

5. Logan, eh?
It's so close, but I can't even remember the last time I was there!

Yeah, living in this area, you can feel lost in a sea of red pretty easily. Indeed, it's always nice to meet a good progressive around here. :hi:

7. Hello! We're pretty much all aligned right down the road!
At least I think Brookston is along there somewhere! Isn't Brookston somewhere between Monticello and Lafayette? I think we took some road to a Lafayette H.S. volleyball game through that way.

Nice to know you guys are around!
