Dental results expected today NORMAL - After some delays Monday, Normal police mailed the dental records of a missing Illinois State University student to Mississippi on Tuesday morning for comparison with a body found Friday in a burned-out chicken house.
Mississippi authorities told Normal police they will have results from the dental comparison by this afternoon.
Normal police Lt. Mark Kotte said the height and range of the body of a black female in Mississippi match that of Olamide Adeyooye, 21. He said several Normal investigators have been sent to Newton County, Miss..
Mark Kotte said there was a delay in mailing the records to Mississippi because they were in storage. Police did not already have the records on hand because they needed parental consent to release them.
"We didn't want to alarm them without any reason to alarm," Kotte said.
