1. She's definitely someone who needs our help next year.
Those of us in solid red or blue districts should help out in the tighter races in the state, and I'd help that lady in a second.

Thought about going to that fundraiser on the 15th but it's a bad night. Maybe I'll just send her the money.

3. If Hyde doesn't retire, he'll lose
He lost 25,000 votes between '02 and '04. Apparently there is some 'rule' that when that happens, the candidate will lose the next time around. Makes sense, because most districts turn out 300,000 people. 25,000 people is 1/12 of the votes, you do the math.
