the anti-war protest on March 19th in Chicago?

After reading all the threads yesterday about the shooting in Baghdad Friday night and watching the piece on 60 Minutes last night about "rendition", I'm seriously thinking about participating.

i don't usually take them to demonstrations, tho.

3. Damn, I can't make it on the 19th....

I've been invited to a wedding shower for a daughter of a very dear friend that day. It starts at 3:00 pm.

I was hoping the march and rally would be over by 2:00 pm, so I could do both.

I cannot blow off this wedding shower. I would get myself in major trouble if I did.

6. Believe me, mo, they know me very well..

In fact, I could probably get these two people to come downtown and protest with me, if they hadn't scheduled their daughter's bridal shower for that day.

I'll give them a call and explain the situation to them, I don't think it will be a problem, they both despise the War and Chimpy as much as I do.

Besides, it's an Irish bridal shower and it will probably continue well into the evening...
