Can anyone help me with this
I took a 3 month leave from work to take care of my Mom couldn't go back when my leave was up still caring for her my co. deemed me Terminated ( I think to help me get Unemployment) when I filed I made the mistake of telling the truth so when they asked Are you currently Available and looking for work I said no because I was caring for her 24/7 I was denied my Co. never got involved At All never disputed it for a second. I am still out of work. It's a new year has anything change with unemployment could I apply again.

1. i take you realize never say you can`t work
the only thing you needed to do is say you could and fill out those work search papers.go back to the office and state you no longer take care of your mother and you are can work. you may need some verification you no longer need to take care of your mother....i do`t know if it will work but give it a try. good luck.

3. The same thing happened to me when my Dad got sick.
I didn't get my unemployment, but when Dad finally passed on 17 months later and I was again available to work, my former employer hired me back without loss of seniority. Best of luck to you.

:hi::hug:
