1. Vigil to Support the Troops by Bringing them Home
March 20, 2008 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM
DuPage Against War Now (DAWN) will sponsor a vigil Thursday, March 20th at 6pm in Glen Ellyn to say END THE WAR, and SUPPORT THE TROOPS by BRINGING THEM HOME.

DAWN has consistently opposed the invasion of Iraq since October of 2002, and mourns the loss and respects the sacrifice of every soldier.

The vigil will be held at the corners of Duane and Main in Glen Ellyn St. from 6-7 pm Thursday, March 20th. Parking is available on nearby streets and in public lots nearby.

DAWN is also collecting razors, packaged underwear, after shave, shave cream, and toiletries to present to the veterans at Hines Veterans Hospital in Maywood Il.

As always, this is a family friendly event and the public is welcome. Please bring your own candle and some to share. You are also welcome to bring your own signs, prayers, poetry and music.

For more information, write to DAWN_198@msn.com.
