1. Thanks for posting!
I'm also an occasional DUer. My campaign website is here: www.willreynolds.us and I recently started a campaign blog www.thereisaway.us

The event should be fun and a good opportunity to meet other Democrats in the area. Any help I can get from fellow DUers is greatly appreciated!

2. You're on the homepage of our DownstateILDemocrats yahoo group too.
I've started organizing the homepage with links to campaign sites, if for no other reason than for little ol' me to be able to keep track of our Downstaters' campaigns and blogs while I'm in that site. So, I've added your blog link with a note to check out your campaign as well.
Good luck with your fundraiser, Will!
Karen

5. Will was a Kucitizen also
Just logged onto www.kucinich.us to let us know about his campaign.

Web page is up, but no online donation setup yet.

http://www.willreynolds.us/_mgxroot/page_10762.html

I’m running for Sangamon County Board because I want to change the way government operates in Sangamon County. During the campaign I will raise a number of issues regarding how I believe County government can be run in a more effective and open way to better serve its residents.

Important decisions should be made with as much public involvement and disclosure as possible. For that reason I created this website and a campaign blog to inform voters of where I stand on the issues and seek your opinions about county government. I feel strongly that local politics should be about something more than who gets patronage jobs and government contracts.

I seek to give the voters of District 22 a choice for balanced, accessible and accountable government. Some people say that politics will always be the same in Sangamon County and that real change is impossible. I say, where there’s a Will, there’s a way.

6. ...
Thanks for posting that!

I won't have online donations. The extra cost for allowing online donations is too high for the small amount I could expect to raise online. However, there is a PO Box on my website where you can send donations.

7. How about Paypal? You can get payments from there.
Seems like that would be an alternative for you if you are willing to set up an account for it.

It is explained online. There's a little bit of code to put on your web page that will take them to a secure page to contribute online into your account.

Good luck!

Laura
