mmm... repuke sour grapes
Talk about sore losers. Obervice is still pouting and threatening to take his ice cream and go home. By all means, keep splitting the Repuke party between the crooks and the nuts.

Republicans came together this morning after yesterday's primary election to rally around GOP nominee Judy Baar Topinka at a unity breakfast.
Second-place finisher Jim Oberweis wouldn't commit to giving Topinka his support, suggesting Topinka would need to meet conditions for his endorsement.

Topinka also criticized Gov. Rod Blagojevich's proposal to raise the state's minimum wage. She said it's an inappropriate time for the increase and the proposal would cost the state jobs.

Yeah Judy, talk about how terrible the minimum wage is, because people hate that.

2. There was a discussion about raising min wage in OR today.
Ed Schultz expressed amazement that their state law required attendants pump gas, yet it was cheaper than other places he's been. Caller from OR called and said that there min wage was around 7.50 and they had no problems because of it. This is needed in Illinois, and now. Her proposed program cuts will cost the state jobs.

4. Senator two years ago, Governor this year
Let's hope he puts his name in the hat for 2008.

I was a little shocked to hear Edgar plastering Religious Right allegiance all over him. But, hey! If the shoe fits!
