Just cut taxes and hope more business comes. Sounds pretty conservative to me.
Would have rather heard him talk about some ideas for economic development, improving the infrastructure to attract, say, more tech industries or other types of business to some of our more hard-hit areas.
Still, he makes a good point about the importance of education. We can't keep cutting corners on education if we expect to have a well-trained work-force. That's half the battle right there, having native Idahoans ready and able to work 21st century jobs, so that Idaho businesses don't have to spend extra money to recruit workers from out-of-state...
Since its a choice between him and Otter, naturally I'll be voting against Otter.
