We need some sort of meeting spot - perhaps a breakfast place in the morning and then a common location in the protest area once it starts

1. We've got the tentative spot picked at the march...
corner of Jefferson Dr SW & 4th, across from the Air & Space Museum. I'd think people would want to be there between 11:00-11:30, or we could specify another time.
Someone said Hawk and Dove serves breakfast? That place we met last time was ok, but it was warm enough to be outside, and if I remember correctly it wasn't all that large inside, and they were kind of slow. (Now how's that for a run on sentence?...and from a teacher, no less...tsk tsk).

2. Be glad Sharon's sans computer
She'd have red ink all over that post. ;)

Okay, do we want to meet at Hawk & Dove twice--Friday evening & Saturday a.m.? I'm okay with that, since we all know where it is.

3. That sounds good to me.
For those of us staying at the Cap. Hill, it is really convenient. I don't know where the other hotels are in relation, but like you said, at least people would know where it was. If it's too out of the way, they could meet up with us on the corner we decided on, and have breakfast closer to their hotel.
What do you think about the time thing? The rally is from 11:00 to 1:00, with the march at 1:00.
11am-1pm: Assembly and Rally
National Mall, between 3rd and 7th streets

1pm-??: March on Washington
Exact route TBD, keep checking here for updates

In '05 it took forever to get rolling, remember?

5. Without A.N.S.W.E.R. being involved, hopefully it will start up on time
I'm fine with either just eating in our own hotel or meeting at the H&D again. I think the important thing is where we meet up to line up for the march, and in front of the Air and Space Museum is as good as anywhere.

8. I like the idea of the Air & Space Museum
Only because some folks might be coming in that day and wouldn't have the time to get to H&D for breakfast. We definately had more show up at the meeting point we had last year than we did at Cosi

4. Not so fast.....
I'm not sans computer. Fooled you! I wound up bringing it with me and am checking in until I have to go downstairs to our reception and dinner.

I'll give livvy a pass because she's a teacher and acknowledged that her post was a big run-on sentence. She knows better, but must have been in a hurry.

I may be here for the CD replay -- it will only be 11 p.m. here in Chicago and I'll most like be up in my room by then.

7. That place was Cosi
And you're right - they were awfully slow.
