How many people are expected to show up for the protest?

1. I don't know that you're going to get much of an answer
I know from organizing work I've done on these things that people wait until the last minute to buy their tickets. It's very frustrating (for the people booking buses).

2. How many Washington DC protests have you attended?
How many people have shown up in the past?

I imagine this one would be larger than anything that has gone down since the idiot shrub took office. Especially after Katrina and Cindy Sheehan.

3. I am going.
And I already have my plane ticket. I wish the organizers would do a R.S.V.P or something.

5. I would imagine this event is drawing all kinds of groups
Including anarchy groups.

4. I want to go.
I'm not sure I can work out the details, though.

6. Depends on who you are asking
If you ask the organizers they're going to say close to a million people.

If you ask a repuke they're going to say about 5 unwashed, unemployed hippies

If you ask the media they'll up it to about a few thousand.

The parks services do not do head counts for these events but I have attended.

Media said 10s of thousands attend the March for Choice in 2004:

Does this look like '10s of thousands'

March for Choice said a million which I would love to think that but I would guestimate it was around 500-750,000

I went to a protest in the dead of winter that got over 400,000. I'm suspecting we could rival those numbers

7. That's amazing
I bet this time around, the media will give even more exposure compared to the past, considering how they're seeming to finally turn against bush.

I'm really looking forward to it.
