3. Don't know how that got past you
It's gotten a lot of air time, even though it's only been one poll.

6. Better asafe than sorry
A person very active in the Hawaii Democratic party told me in early
September that Hawaii was in real danger of "turning blue". She
explained that many of certain types of churches here are very
organized and almost voting as a solid block.

It's getting national attention that Hawaii is now considered a "swing" state. It's on my home page in a news article in today's news crawl:
http://www.independentmediasource.com
"Swing states increase in US election: Hawaii, Arkansas and New Hampshire"
http://www.rte.ie/news/2004/1026/uselection.html

I also have some things you can do to help counteract this on the home page and the "Hawaii Happenings" page.

http://www.independentmediasource.com/hawaii_happenings...

I'm sending out a PR release today to the following media to try to help counteract this.

editor@mauisfreepress.com,admin@hawaiipublicradio.org,letters@hawaiitribune-herald.com,letters@honoluluadvertiser.com,hawaii@honoluluadvertiser.com,letters@starbulletin.com,fbridgewater@starbulletin.com,mrovner@starbulletin.com,lyoungoda@starbulletin.com,elynch@starbulletin.com, nkam@starbulletin.com,skendrick@starbulletin.com,lgriffith@honoluluweekly.com,lwang@honoluluweekly.com,lvc@honoluluweekly.com,editorial@honoluluweekly.com,kgmbnews@pixi.com,pd@ksskradio.com,email@pbshawaii.org,news8@khnl.com,khrnr@kguradio.com,khon@khon.emmis.com,pd@ksskradio.com,management@thehawaiichannel.com,kkcrnews@hotmail.com,letters@mauinews.com,anthony@mauitime.com,editor@mauiweekly.com,pacific@bizjournals.com,ginews@aloha.net, rflickinger@westhawaiitoday.com,gcovey@westhawaiitoday.com,news@mauiweekly.com,jen@mauitime.com,newstips@mauisfreepress.com,editor@mauinews.com,kaleo@kaleo.org,news@kaleo.org,editor@kaleo.org,me@kaleo.org,datebook@hawaiitribune-herald.com

If you know of any other ones, let me know who they are so I can add them to this and future PR releases. If you have a relationship with some media person, you can send them my PR release yourself.

Here's the link to it, I will be posting it on my Hawaii Happenings page later today - and the most recent national one on the home page. Just copy and paste it into your email editor.

7. ummm....do you mean 'turning red?'
I sure hope the polls are wrong about this.

But here in Illinois, we have something similar. We've been basically ignored and have gone from a strong Kerry to a weak Kerry. He's still in double digit lead, but not nearly as much as a few months ago. I hope the Dems all still get to the polls.
