Question re. Cathy Fox

I'm having a discussion with some of my buddies over on NewsHounds about our Secretary of State, Cathy Fox, and a freeper mentioned that she had called a neighboring state Flori-duh. Of course, Cox fought hard to update our voting systems, and she was doing her best to bring us into the modern voting age.

Still, my inclination was to defend Fox, but I must have missed the flap over that comment. I googled Cox and "Flori-duh" and came up with only a vague reference in the Athens paper.

Can anyone confirm that she actually made this comment and in what context?

1. Yes, I think I heard her say it on the radio.

She was being interview by someone. I don't remember what show was.
