Sunday alcohol sales bill not dead
http://www.ajc.com/news/georgia-politics-elections/sunday-alcohol-sales-bill-873170.html

The obvious GOP hypocrisy, in that "your business is your business, esp. if it's big business, unless it's personal choice or something that we don't like, then it's OUR business!" is ridiculous. They've been screaming about cutting spending and not raising taxes, one would think that they'd WANT another source of tax revenue.

2. Supposedly Deal will sign it. HOWEVER....
This bill doesn't automatically allow Sunday alcohol sales, it only lets counties decide if they want it or not. I'd bet Sunday sales are still a long time coming in some areas.

It's interesting that this bill came to be with a right wing legislature and right wing governor. But then again, I'm sure to them it's all about money.

3. It is about the money
they can't print any and they won't raise taxes, so the money has to come from somewhere. The immoral majority will try to keep Sunday sales away in some areas, but, most of the time, money trumps morals.
