Supreme Court of Georgia Elections
The following is from an email I recently received. I've tried to snip it enough to keep it appropriate.

No, I'm not a member of the Christian Coalition. I got this from someone who got it from someone and so on... yada yada.

Forwarded Christian Coalition message below.

KEEPING THE FAITH

Please forward.

IF YOU ARE NOT REGISTERED TO VOTE IN THE JULY 20 PRIMARY ELECTIONS,
PLEASE DO SO QUICKLY! THE LAST DAY YOU CAN REGISTER AND BE ABLE TO
VOTE IN THESE IMPORTANT ELECTIONS IS JUNE 21st, 2004.

You can go to our web site and download an application, or you can go to your county registrar's office. Also, there are other venues at which you may register. To find out what those are, go to www.sos.state.ga.us or call 404-656-2871.

All of the judicial races will be decided on July 20th, as they are
non-partisan. They will not be on the ballot in November. So, you
only have one opportunity to cast your vote in these important
elections. Please be registered and be sure your family and friends
are also.

I am sorry to have been out of touch for a week or so. Unfortunately, there has been one problem after another with my server. Hopefully, it is now fixed so I can get back to writing and sending out our Keeping The Faith newsletter.

*****

Last week, we held a press conference at the State Capitol to announce our intention of surveying the judicial candidates for the Georgia Supreme Court and the Georgia Court of Appeals. All of the candidates for these two offices have been sent the 2004 Kelly Judicial Candidate Survey which consists of five categories: abortion, homosexual conduct, nonsectarian prayer at public school graduation ceremonies, parental choice in education and equal access for theology majors to a state-funded college scholarship program. The information contained

in the Survey is taken directly from U. S. Supreme Court decisions. All of the questions and responses from the candidates will be reflected in our voter guide for the July 20th primary.

This is an exciting opportunity for us! It will be the first time ever we have had the opportunity to know what the judicial philosophy of these candidates is, and therefore be able to cast an informed and educated vote on July 20th.

If you would like to help with the distribution of these voter guides please let our office know. Also, state in your communication how many you can distribute and where you would like them sent.

We will have the 2004 Kelly Judicial Candidate Survey posted on our Web site in the next few days, and the voter guide will be posted on our Web site the week prior to the election.

Thank you for Keeping The Faith.

Sadie Fields
