Apparently, Republican John Quinonez (District 49) stepped down to run for the Hispanic-majority Osceola County Commission seat. Why would someone do that?? Wait, I got it... he is going to help rob Hispanic votes for the Republicans?

So my Central FL friends, there will be a Democratic primary in Osceola County in March 20 and the General election for House District 49 in April 24.

Six Democrats and a Republican qualified Friday as candidates for House District 49.

The Democrats are vying in the March 20 primary for the right to face Tony Suarez, the Republican, in the general election.

About 43 percent of the district's 77,000 registered voters are Democrats.

How did I find out? I received a phone call from a polling agency today asking if I was going to vote for a Republic or Democratic. What a dumb question...
