1. Only able to find snips and bits so far -
haven't seen a video or transcript yet.

DEFEATED: Florida Republican U.S. Senate candidate Katherine Harris concedes the Senate race to incumbent Bill Nelson as her husband, Anders Ebbeson, right, looks on.

>snip<
Without high-level support, Harris' fundraising was dried up, seriously hobbling her against the well-financed Nelson who raised about $18 million -- double that of Harris. Then, on Monday, White House event organizers kept Harris from appearing onstage with President Bush in Pensacola. A number of Harris supporters Tuesday night said the slight was inexcusable.

In her concession speech, Harris urged a room of 200 supporters: ``Don't succumb to bitterness at some of the liberals in the media, or vindictiveness to our political opponents, no matter which party that they're in.''

>snip<
Harris said her ''deepest disappointment'' in the race is that she couldn't continue to inspire young people to become active in government.

Harris finally conceded after 10 p.m., when she walked into her election party at the Sarasota Hyatt as the Temptations song "My Girl" played in the background.

"We fought a good fight," Harris told about 150 of her supporters. "We knew it would be tough going against an incumbent."

But Harris said, even under the most trying circumstances, she wouldn't have changed a thing.

"There have been so many things that have been so hard and many of you have walked through that with me," Harris said.

"But for all those obstacles and all of the things that were so tough, with the exception of losing my dad, there is not one single thing that I would reverse the tide on because it has grown my character and grown my faith."
