I know I'm not from Florida, but I have an idea that would be practical there and not where I live as we do not have a purge.
About a year ago, I think it was a couple months after I read about the purge, it occurred to me that if you really want to make sure no one's inaccurately purged, people should start a campaign to get people to call the secretary of state's office and go check if they're still on the voter rolls. If people did this early enough, they might have time to fix things if they go wrong, and if they do it every few weeks, they could catch it as soon as possible if they're purged later. So I guess my advice in this case would be to find out how to check and keep passing it on, and we could contain any damage from the purge somewhat. What do you think - is this a good idea? Is there already some sort of confirmation in place this time that would make this unnecessary? Who would you call to find this out?
