Teachers union lawyer: Large-scale protests unlikely in Florida
TALLAHASSEE - A lawyer for the state teachers union says Wisconsin-style protests likely won't happen in Florida because of strict laws against strikes by union members.

Tallahassee lawyer Ron Meyer said Monday that if teachers do violate the laws, they could face stiff fines and forfeit their pensions.

Meyer represents the Florida Education Association.

But Meyer adds teachers aren't rolling over. He says: "They'll express their outrage lawfully," including protesting after school or taking approved leave time during the day.

1. I'm watching the msm now (kinda)
aside from a few words this morning on tampa bay channels, there has been no mention of any type of demonstrations in Tallahassee.

The prickscott budget is gonna hurt alot of people, maybe that will wake up the ones that hate the president due to race, maybe it

will wake those that have been brainwashed into thinking their neighbors are stealing their tax dollars.

But then again, THIS IS FLORIDUH

2. We had around 500 people at our Awake the State Rally in
Polk County. I've heard the numbers were in the 2000 range for the Tampa rally.
