Pelosi taps Wasserman Schultz to communicate Democratic priorities

On the eve of the Democratic Party's handing over control of the U.S. House to the Republicans, outgoing Speaker (and incoming Minority Leader) Nancy Pelosi said U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Weston, will have a leading role in communiciating the party's priorities.

Those priorities, according to a statement from Pelosi's Office: "job creation,deficit reduction and strengthening the middle class."

Wasserman Schultz are tasked with "communicating with our members and with the press" on those priorities. She'll be joined in that effort by U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas. Cuellar and Wasserman Schultz are both vice chairmen of the House Democratic Steering and Policy Committee for the new Congress that convenes Wednesday.

“Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz has been a valuable asset to our Caucus – from her leadership on the Appropriations Committee to her hard work on behalf of America’s working families," Pelosi said in her statement.

look, we had the house for a little while and speaker Pelosi did not impress me with "communiicating with our members and with the press" so I'm kind of ambliviant about anyting she has to say. Or is impeachment back on the table?
