If it doesn't stay below freezing for too long it shouldn't be so bad for the plants.

2. yesterday I saw the strawberries in the ground under plastic

along I4 on the way to Orlando. Get ready for the pumping to keep the oranges from freezing, which is code for "sinkholes coming your way"

No we won't - we're in South Florida. High 30's inland. Maybe. It'll be 50 by 10 a.m. Bring a jacket.
