Florida High Speed and Light Rail, why are our Fl. Dems not ........

Pushing JOBS, JOBS, JOBS. I just watched a piece on Bay news nine about the rail system, The pub was saying that raising taxes to do this would be the worst thing you could do during these poor economic times.

Jim Davis rebuttal was that it would save us money in the long run, to cut down on the cost of maintaining our roads.

Why are our Dems not pushing that these projects would create jobs for Floridians, which is the best thing you can do for our poor economy. Think of all the jobs it would create from surveyors to construction, to the employees that would eventually be needed to run the system when completed. It just boogles the mind how many people would be needed in all feilds to this!

Is it just me, does this not sound like something that struggling out of work Floridians might want to hear.

Most common people do not give at rat’s ass about the cost of road repair; they care about being able to put food on their table, keep a roof over their heads and providing for their families.
