When Sink debates Scott she needs to do a couple things.

First, she needs to make him angry. This guy seems like he could explode under pressure. He seems like the typical dictatorial CEO - "my way or the highway." Hit him hard on the Medicare fraud and the 75 times he pleaded no contest in a deposition. He needs to release the deposition.

Second, she needs to say she STANDS UP to defend children in public schools. It is time for a candidate to stand up to help schools rather than punish them. All his plan does is help charters, vouchers, and homeschool. Fine. But do something FOR public schools rather than hurt them. Call for a good curriculum. Call for cutting the number of bureaucrats by streamlining education law. Education law needs to be revised to help schools. If charters schools get more freedom, then it's good for public schools. These are concrete things she can say in a debate to help her cause. Scott has released his education plan so she can back him into a corner with his emphasis on SB6, testing, and punishment. That's all his plan does is test and punish. Test and punish.

She can also call for an end to the one-size-fits-all high school diploma. She needs to call for a transition to a vocational diploma or a college prep diploma. A kid can choose whichever one after 10th or 11th grade. This notion that a kid can float through school, take general level and non-college prep classes and graduate ready for work is stupid.

The first candidate in any election who calls for a bona fide vocational high school diploma wins EASILY! Ask any person on the street and they will tell you that to make our economy better, some kids need vocational skills - not textbooks. Not every kid wants a 4 year degree. They can go to tech school or enroll in a community college for an A.S. degree.

It's time to punish Rick Scott for running a campaign that is only in TV ads. He doesn't know the first thing about policy and that is a problem. He has only been here for 7 years and I have a problem with that. I've been here all my life and I don't know every corner of the state yet. How can Rick Scott know what all of Florida needs?

There is so much she can hit him on. Plus I hope she is practicing for debates against James Carville because that's what this man looks like!
