Are Bush/Rove targeting Connecticut?
I heard from somewhere that they are.

How much of a shot might they have? :scared:

1. None. The local news has a UCONN poll last week that....
put Kerry at 53% and Shrub at 33%.

I see CT going to Kerry by about 20 points.

2. A cold day in hell...................
I thought I just heard the other day that Kerry was ahead of bush in the polls by 17 points or so. The repugs are having a tough enough time holding onto the governorship here.

3. No way in hell is Kerry going to lose CT
He'll win by 20 or more points

I think Rove, et. al are wasting their time if they try to target CT
They have no chance.

4. Every Democratic leaning state is a target.
Make no mistake about it. Karl Rove and his pals are going to huge strides to make sure that Bush wins these states and not just for Bush alone. They are going to make sure Congress, the Senate, State Houses, and Governors are Republican. This is the overall goal of the Neocons. To make America a one-party state. The goal is destroy the Democratic Party and any party that gets in the way. This is why I have trouble with the DLC. They are allowing the weakening of their own party.

7. CT is not a "Democratic Leaning" state,
we are solidly in the Kerry Collumn.

5. Connecticut hasn't gone to a Republican presidential candidate since 1984.
And that candidate was Ronald Reagan, whose odds of losing his re-election bid were slightly higher than my odds of farting live butterflies.

6. Rove has threatned to target every state even NY and CA
its not serious, he isnt that stupid. I mean they have ungodly amounts of money, so they can afford to run campaigs in dem states, but they wont matte and as things get worse they are going to need more and more money in the swing states.

Its much more likely that hes trying to keep Kerry on his feet by issuing rumors.
