Quinnipiac poll shows Rell continues to hold commanding lead
HARTFORD, Conn. --Republican Gov. M. Jodi Rell continues to hold a commanding lead over her Democratic challenger, according to a new Quinnipiac University poll.

The poll, released Thursday, shows that Rell leads New Haven Mayor John DeStefano 63 percent to 30 percent among likely voters.

The figures and lead are unchanged since a similar poll released August 17. Six percent of those surveyed said they are undecided and 19 percent of those who name a candidate say they might change their mind.

The poll also showed that voters aren't wedded to political parties when voting for governor this year. Forty-eight percent said the party affiliation of the candidate is very or somewhat important while 51 percent said it's not so important or not important at all.

The article also states that LIEber/LOSERman is up 10%?! I've seen another saying he was only up by 2%.

1. The Q poll is an outlier
most polls in the past 2 weeks have the race at about a 2 point edge for LIEberman.

Also, don't forget that Q had Lamont up 14 points a week before the primary, then had him up 6 the day before the primary.... and Lamont won by 4.5% or so.

2. Yeah you're right
We'll have to keep up the fight and make sure that LIEber/LOSERman is not successful.

4. Still
It shows that we have a lot of work to do... I heard that Lamont supposedly has a great ground game, but I have not seen a single new Ned Lamont sign that has gone up since the primary. And, I have a long drive to & from work each day.

I haven't seen many Lieberman signs going up, either. But, I have seen some.
