Anybody on here ever listen to KOA - am in Denver overnight?
I keep my radio on all night and try to bring in distant stations. Sort of like traveling without moving. Nowadays most 50,000 watt stations are owned by Clearchannel and as such play Art Bell's descendant show. KOA still has local people. The one who is on in the wee hours has a bit of a liberal bent.
Anyway, Friday AM (@2 or 3AM) I woke up to hear what sounded like threats to Obama and talk of right wing rebellion. I was not totally awake and eventually fell back to sleep. Was I hearing things or is talk like that coming out in the open? (this is the show on after Gunny Bob - puke)
BTW - I live in eastern Iowa

1. Cant say I have.....
but at the same time I rarely ever listen to talk radio, due to the high amount of right wing trash they spew over the airwaves. The threats to Obama and the talk of right wing rebellion is nothing new. In fact we can expect more in months to come and during his time in the White House. I live here in Denver and to answer your question no I have not heard of KOA.

2. 850 AM
I just like to listen to stations around the country. A carry over from my youth when radio stations were truly local.
The host on from @1am to 5am is somewhat liberal as I said.

4. Exactly. AM760 is the local progressive talk station.
They've got Randi Rhodes, Ed Schultz, Thom Hartmann, Rachel Maddow, etc. The local talk host in the mornings, Jay Marvin is pretty talented.

6. I only listen to KOA for Rockies or Bronco games.
Here's their website if you want to try to figure out which show was on.
