1. Had a call from her office.Would we like to lunch with George & Marilyn?
They are THAT desperate for warm bodies. I think they must be getting a lot of "so sorry, too busy, other plans, la la la" to come fishing in El Paso County.

That woman is so out of touch, she thinks George is a big draw. Well, maybe some Focus people will pony up some dough to eat with that fantastic duo. :eyes:

Hubby had to donate some money to George because of pressure from his boss. He doesn't work for those people any more. It's a good thing I answered the phone. The staffer seemed to take it pretty well. He laughed when I told him probably when hell froze over.

:eyes:

2. Ewwwww!
I can't imagine getting called by them. Ugh.

El Paso county isn't even in her district! I guess she wants the $; those hard-core ag people just can't spend the big bucks, I guess.

I rode on a plane with her to Denver from D.C. earlier this year. Allard was on board, too. It took a lot of restraint to not ask how they could live with themselves. But, I was comforted in their presence knowing that the plane would not crash given the amount of evil on it.

I'm excited about Angie Paccione's chances to unseat Marilyn this year. Musgrave has to go.

3. Musgrave and Tancredo both must be voted out.
Both voted for the Budget Bill. The Pombo amendment might as well be the Tancredo amendment. He is spinning to opening up of National Forest lands etc. as the right of people to own property. With all the old mining claims throughout Colorado, I wonder just how much of Colorado open space, forests, national parks, etc. will be up for sale if the Senate passes the House version with the Pombo amendment.
