The no camp has absolutely no shame...
"On Thursday night, Larimer County Clerk Scott Doyle and Colorado State University professor John Straayer received the same phone call. A recorded message said if they didn’t immediately vote “no” on Referendums C and D, they wouldn’t receive a tax refund, and the money would be spent by politicians to encourage illegal immigration."

1. I had a poll call last week...
Edited on Tue Oct-18-05 02:05 PM by rampaging_cynic
It was left on my answering machine. It said something to the effect of, "Are you upset that some California judge ruled to take the words 'under god' out of the pledge? Do you want to vote for C and D and have your taxes increased? ..." Then, my machine cut it off.

There was no identification or anything. It was just some recorded message from an anonymous, bitter, old man pissing and moaning on my phone.

Yep, I'd say they are shameless.

2. I remember election morning 2004
A recorded message told me around 8 a.m. that it was my "union leadership" telling me to remember to get to the polls. On Wednesday. :eyes:

3. I think this is the independence institute
and they don't have to disclose their donors because they are "educational." Yeah right :eyes:
