Just broke in:

As many of you may have heard, the next President of the United States will be in Pueblo on Saturday morning. Details are still being worked out, and the location is still being finalized, but plan on spending Saturday morning in Pueblo greeting Senator John Kerry!

So, get yo' ass over there, COLiberal! :D

Edited on Tue Oct-19-04 10:24 AM by CO Liberal
Buffie McFadyen (my representative in the Legislature) announced it yeaterday. No details yet.

I saw Bill Clinton when he spoke in front of the Pueblo Country Court House in 1996.

3. how do I find out when, where, etc?
My husband and I really want to go and we are only a short distance away (we think anyway, Ft Carson, haven't done much exploring since we moved here). Do we need tickets? If so, how do we get them? Help!

6. I Just Called Pueblo Democratic Headquarters
The woman I spoke to said they still had no information about where he would appearing - just that it would be Saturday morning. Tickets will be required - they'll be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting Thursday.

To get tickets, you'll have to go the Kerry Campaign Headquarters, which is in the Democratic Headquarters on Santa Fe Avenue. To get there from the north, take I-25 to the 6th Street Exit. Turn left at the first light (Santa Fe). Democratic headquarters is on the right side of the street, between 3rd and 4th Streets.

16. I'll be there!
I haven't had a chance to read all the details, but I have a question. It says the event will be held "rain or shine". Does this mean it'll be outside?

Did you folks all get to see Teresa too? I did. She was excellent!

18. I'm Not Sure
The Union Depot is a big old train station - they may be able to hold it inside, or in the parking lot in back.

19. I used to live right up the hill from it
My son is one of the volunteers for this, so I'll ask him if he knows if it's inside or out when I talk to him tomorrow. I checked the weather and it looks like it'll be a nice day...as long as the wind that we're going to get tomorrow is over by then.

My chin is a tad small, so the beard balances out my face.
