Poll question: Why did CA dems roll over and confirm Diebold McPherson for Sec of State?
I thought they might at least grill him a bit more.

2. I could have voted for several of these, but I chose the last one.
Have you seen the transcript from the hearing today?

5. Why would every single Democrat in the Assembly and Senate not want honest
elections?

6. I merely report what I observe.
I leave it to others to provide theoretical support for
the observation.

However, a very simple idea would be that they like the job security
that can only be obtained by the control of the results of elections.

13. Joe Dunn is opposed to caps on contributions and spending.
He probably doesn't want an honest Secretary of State costing him the primary. He was probably relieved by that decision that said that they sky was the limit on spending on the special election.

7. B4 I vote for another democrat
4 the state legislature, I want an X-ray published 2 prove there is a spine and MRI results to prove there is a brain.

Someone should let them know they really R in the majority. They certainly don't act like they R aware of it.

9. Nunez ramrodded this through REALLY REALLY fast
According to our CFD members who were there observing.
Plus the moved up the vote one day, throwing off the activists who planned to fly up the supposed day of the vote for public comment.

When Jesse Unruh (treasurer) died in office, the Repub governor at the time (Dukmejian) forwarded a republican replacement for confirmation.

Back then the Dems weren't pansy-assed fraidy cats , and THEY VOTED THE GUY DOWN, and told the gov " we have the assistant treasurer in place, he will run things until the election, thank you very much"

I miss those days.
:grr:
