53 percent would re-elect Feinstein
http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2005/03/08/BAG5DBLSFM1.DTL

With her next election more than a year away, a poll to be released today finds a majority of Californians is inclined to re-elect U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein.

The Field Poll found that 53 percent of the survey sample said they are willing to send the former San Francisco mayor back to Washington for a fourth term, compared with 39 percent who are not.

Mark DiCamillo, the director of the Field Poll, noted that both the 50- plus rating on her re-election, as well as a 36 percent approval rating from Republicans, indicate she is well-positioned for re-election.

3. That's not great for supposedly the most popular politician
in Cali. I don't think we can beat her but we can push her enough to start understanding her constituents. The woman has spent too much time in beltway politics and needs to come home and listen to us.

Those #'s don't seem like anything for her to be happy about.
