I just wrote to Gov. Brown and suggested he look into legalizing

recreational drugs, not just marijuana, but other harder drugs at a clinical level. I told him it was the way to crush the Mexican drug cartels and a nice new revenue to tax keeping the money here, since Americans are the major customer, instead of going there. However, my one little email won't be noticed, but a lot of emails, letters and phone calls will. Of course the Legislature would have to pass these laws, but it's worth doing a little grass works spade work on this by getting his attention.

1. Mexican death toll higher than Iraq's!

With more people dying in Mexico everyday from the drug violence than in Iraq, it would make sense to put an end to the drug cartels that support that violence. It is sad that drugs ruin lives in the United States for those that use them, but it also affects those that do not use them. That, my friend, just plain sucks!
