Single payer meeting in Pasadena May 9
Health care reform is the most urgent issue facing America.

We must (and can) get it right.

On May 9 in Pasadena.

Dear Martha,

As a supporter of our OneCareNow Campaign for SB 810 and single payer, you'll want to invite your friends to this year's first and largest conference for single payer legislation.

In just one day, you will hear from the leading advocates of California's health reform movement, including Senator Sheila Kuehl. You can choose from nine distinct seminars on single payer and SB 810 -- from benefit details, state financing to provider compensation.

John Russell, 2006 and 2008 Democratic nominee for Florida's 5th Congressional District stops in to address the New Port Richey Tea Party sponsored by area Conservatives and Republicans. A crowd estimated at close to 200 people was in attendance.

John addresses the crowd giving them some eye opening insights into his experience as a candidate and how the major party structure of American politics is fatally flawed. Americans are saddled with a two party system that is racked with corruption relatively legal though it may be. John hopes that his experience can help his fellow citizens to understand and address the primary reasons WHY our nation is in such disrepair.

:nuke: John discusses a prime example in his interactions with a political consultant from Washington DC in 2006 who was asking John to trade his integrity for campaign contributions in return for "working with" the pharmaceutical industry.

John would have been then a traitor to his advocacy for a national single payer health care plan.

John as we all know turned down this offer. :toast:

An example of just HOW our system works FOR Corporate America and NOT for average Americans! We need REAL CHANGE... and REFORM of the American political system!

John's message is very well received! :)
