There is no way that McCain will win California. But as liberals and Democrats, we MUST go to the poll to defeat Proposition 8 ~~ the hate amendment to the California Const.

Please remember there is a lot at stake on Wednesday besides the top of the ticket! We cannot allow the homophobic bigots supported by the Mormon Church to destroy the equality of ALL California citizens! Everyone's right to marry is important!

4. This is precisely why I'm doing GOTV all day on Tuesday
I know that Obama will win CA, and he will likely win overwhelmingly in my county (Santa Cruz), but we have to get Dems out to vote against Prop 8.

5. Just reading about the record voter registration this cycle...
much of it was Democratic. At least four red counties (San Bernardino, Ventura, Stanislaus, and San Joaquin) turned blue in terms of registered voters and some evened up. So perhaps many of these new Democrats will vote no on 8!
