1. Yep -- they'd be courting us like we were Iowans if we'd left it alone. . .
I still favor rotating, regional primaries, but I am getting a kick out of the way this has all played out this year.

11. LOL
Yeah they sure did court us (Im an Iowan). I suppose a regional primary would probably be best, but I think it would make it harder to narrow down to one candidate, even harder than it is now. Gravel would have won delegates in your state, Biden, Kucinich, Dodd, Richardson would have all gained delegates from there state. Iowa had Senator Tom Harkin (of Iowa) run in 1992, and the man is an amazing senator, but he probably didnt deserve all the support he got in the caucuses, but he won because he was from here, he was one of us.

Vote Fallon!

3. I Think Jon Stewart Made Fun of Super Tuesday
Everyone wanted a say because their voice was never heard. Every state wanted to be the one that determined the winner and it backfired big time. I am thinking I would like a national primary but in order to achieve it real election reform would have to happen so it probably will snow in Death Valley in the summer before that happens.

5. The networks and the party nullified any affect we could have had.
The networks and the party pushed out all of the candidates but the chosen two.
Unforgivable.

7. so it doesn't matter if these candidates couldn't pull votes
it was all the fault of the networks and the party?

interesting

wrong but interesting

I'd say it has to do with a lot of the fact that Obama and Hillary were able to get the bucks to make the run and to get the supporters to make the run and to get the votes to make the run

8. The bucks helped too.

They couldn't pull votes because the mainstream, corporate media ignored and excluded candidates from the debates and from coverage.
The party allowed the media to push them out.
It's totally correct and interesting.

9. the media ignored candidates because the voters ignored them
if Biden or Dodd were able to generate interest from the voters and the money people, the media would have taken them seriously

if you don't get the poll numbers and the bucks, the media doesn't owe you squat

10. The voters ignored them BECAUSE the media ignored them.
You are putting the cart in front of the horse my friend.
How do most voters hear about the candidates anyways?
