well, not really...I know we need the rain, but I am a little tired of it. It has rained steadily, with periodic downpours since I woke up at 8 frickin' a.m. this morning! :-(

2. Oh, ya big baby. It's just rain
and more rain and more rain and more rain. Today has been pretty rainy over here in the East Bay too, and the whole weekend's not looking good. As you said, we DO need it. At least my daffodils are happy.

5. Our horses are growing web feet
I just got my season 4 set of "The wire" and since there's no football on this weekend I plan to watch a lot of it. Supposed to rain thru Tuesday here. Our little creek was over its banks briefly Thursday but it has receded a bit today.

9. It's a free car wash for me.
My car's been sitting in the carport for a few days and is covered with dust. It's a good time to pull it out and give it a good rinse. It's raining buckets in Altadena.

11. Next storm just hit interior coast range, Sun.7:25 pm, Lake Co.
... someone just turned on the spigot and the wind machine simultaneously. Here we go again. No climate change... my ass. Tell that to the insurance co. that just paid for us to replace the 12'x12' metal awning that blew off on the 4th. A tremendous gust of wind lifted it up, blew it backwards -over- our house, and it landed on the road in front of our neighbor's house. Even the posts made the flight.

13. Heh, much of my family lives on the Oregon coast...it's starting to feel like home :)
I'd rather deal with rain than fog. On the other hand, my property abuts the Stanislaus river. It's not anywhere near flooding, but I've been watching it inch up day by day.

Plenty of snow-pack for those thieving Angelinos to steal during spring thaw!
