Well, I'll be protesting--Arnold's signed to make a movie...
http://www.imdb.com/news/wenn/2005-10-12/#3

I vowed to protest if he had the audacity to make another movie. Cameron must be smoking crack! The day it opens, I will be there, to protest, picket whatever...he has no business making movies anymore and pocketing his big paycheck, after what he has done to this state.

1. I just read another article on this
That does it for me as well. I WILL sign a recall petition. I wasn't sure it was necessary (costly! and wait until '06) but this does it!
Do you know how long just ONE movie takes to film? And talk about timing...right before his pet projects get voted on?

Where do I sign?

3. My husband just said he thinks this is a sign
a sign that Arnold knows he won't be reappointed to his glorious position as our Gov.

Either way, I'm picketing.

4. I think he's right
But let's show him where the door is anyway. No harm in tearing down that ego a little.

5. Absolutely! I'll be happy to help show him the door--
but there's got to be a HUGE conflict of interest, signing to do a film while he's still our craptascular Governor. Just like when he was going to get those endorsements.

Of course, he gave them up because we rode him about it. So what do we have to do, to let him know we are displeased that he is bankrupting our state, while simultaneously lining his pockets?

It's just wrong that he gets to send his children to posh privates schools, while destroying public education for our citizens.

:grr: :mad:

2. It's improper for the governor of CA
to be making craptacular movies. I mean, really awful ones.

6. Do you think he'd have the courage to announce a "Total Recall" sequel?
I'm guessing that won't happen before June! :)

7. This shows that...
While Hollywood is considered a Democratic stronghold, the money strings all belong to the Republican executives.

The movie studios are NOT our friends. They propagate racism, sexism, and homophobia through their movies.

13. Thanks
for the welcome!

I went to college in NYC, so I know what it's like to live there too (though I am not an expert on the political side of things).

9. In a righteous world
Arnold loses re-election by a landslide;
His latest attempts at a Hollywood comeback fall flat at the box office, as the public finds the idea of a nearly-60-something action hero less than appealing;
He is dogged for the rest of his days by nurses, public teachers, and firefighters, wherever the blockhead goes

11. Is it too much to ask that he return the money
he took from our schools, with his earnings from the film?

:evilgrin:
