This bill would eliminate the requirement that the State Board of

Education develop policy and regulations for the sale of food by

of any school district or any county office of education to ensure

that the sale of food by any organization, other than the school food

service department, does not interfere with optimum participation in

nonprofit food service programs.

This bill would instead require the governing board of any school

This bill would authorize a CalWORKs recipient to receive aid
during a transitional period of 6 cumulative months
during the individual's lifetime without participating in the
Cal-Learn Program as a full-time student if the participant works

program and supports that meet the needs of the participant. The
bill would require the department to adopt implementing regulations
no later than January 1, 2008.

This bill would provide that the entire 5-year clinical practice

after January 1, 2006, limiting the holder's practice to designated
settings until expiration of the 2-year term.

This bill would require an action to compel compliance with these

provisions to be commenced within 10 years of the alleged violation

and would provide that the cause of action for a violation accrues on

case of a violation regarding the improper use of the funds, on the

date of the actual expenditure of the fund.
