Dennis Kucinich was on fire tonight!!
I went to the "Uppie Awards" in San Pedro tonight, and it was a great presentation. I wasn't familiar with most of the speakers, but they all did a great job. The star of the night was definitely Dennis Kucinich. I had seen him during the primary debates on TV, but had never really watched him speak. He was incredible! He showed a lot of intensity and made lots of excellent points. The place exploded and he got a standing ovation both before and after he spoke.

2. The reason Dennis Kucinich didnt have a chance in the '04 election.....
is because he actually would have changed things. No one, and i mean NO ONE that would actually change the status quo in this country has a snowballs chance in hell of being elected to high office.

The last guy that was elected to high office that was actually going to change things was assasinated in a very public way in front of dozens of witnesses on the streets of a major city.

The likes of the Kucinich's and the Nader's of the world are PURPOSELY made to look weird or are otherwise marginalized so as to be unappealing to the masses.

We cant have actual change in this country! There is money to be made and NOTHING can be allowed to fuck that up.

3. There's that--
--but also the fact that just about all of his supporters were newbies to the nuts and bolts of political process in the Democratic Party. More experience and better organization is the only way that is going to change. Ground up is the only way around the Rethug noise machine. And if there are enough of us to step up, it won't matter if they knock off some of our leaders.

5. This is the guy we need for President
It's time we started educating the public on how good this guy is. And it's not just words. He's got a pefect voting record.
