Meet Our Democratic Ticket Thursday!

Victory 2006 Coordinated Campaign HQ - 321 Maple St., North Little Rock

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The results are in!
The outcome of last night's primary run-off election is now apparent and, at long last, we know the Democratic ticket that will lead us to victory in 2006.

Here's your Democratic slate: (Click on a name to go to the candidate's website.)

Governor: Attorney General Mike Beebe

Lieutenant Governor: Bill Halter

Attorney General: Rep. Dustin McDaniel (He's a Young Democrat.)

Secretary of State: Secretary Charlie Daniels

Treasurer: Rep. Martha Shoffner

Auditor: Auditor Jim Wood

Land Commissioner: Commissioner Mark Wilcox

We have an awesome team of Democratic candidates with the ability and determination to move Arkansas forward. I'm incredibly pumped about the fact that we have such an uncommonly qualified group of people running as Democrats. The ticket-leading trio of Mike Beebe, Bill Halter, and Dustin McDaniel is easy to get behind with our full support.

The first opportunity to do so will be this Thursday at 5:30 at the Victory 2006 Coordinated Campaign headquarters (323 Maple, North Little Rock). Our slate of candidates will be there, along with tons of free food and drinks, music, a live donkey and those Democrats who didn't make it past the primary and run-offs, to demonstrate our unified support for those who did.

For more information, or to RSVP for the event, contact Dori Martin (a YD who is Victory 2006's Second Congressional District Director) at (501) 371- 0606 or dori.martin@arkansasvictory2006.org.

Or direct your email to somebody more specific:

In the next few weeks, we'll be overhauling and beefing-up ydarkansas.org, providing lots of information on what's going on and coming-up in the YDs and Arkansas politics, Democratic campaigns, and all the information you need to get active.

But don't wait until then. The longer you wait, the more that goes undone. Email us at getactive@ydarkansas.org and we'll help you become an important part of this election within a few days' time.

2. yeah, he wasn't too far away
also, the Lt Gov I wanted barely lost the primary, less than 1% below Wooldridge for the run-off spot, but at least we got Dustin McDaniel
