Your party has no money
I just ran across this. I know you're probably disappointed in Lincoln and Pryor on occasion, but it could be worse. You could have Nelson from Nebraska. Still, your state party was down to $657.51 before a recent Clinton fundraiser. Not good. He brought in $175,000, but Republicans have brought in a million dollars so far this year. Thought you'd want to know.

1. Thanks for the info
Unfortunately, most people from my little section of this state have no money to give. They hardly have money for food and utilities. Now, I realize that the "party in power" bears a big portion of the blame for this and we need a change, BUT, it is hard to ask people for money when they struggle to pay the bills. The people around here that have money to give ain't gonna give it the the Democratic party, if you get my drift..
Having said that, I will say that I try to do my part, but am a little confused as to where my money will do the most good. Suggestions?

2. Boy I don't know
I'd guess it would depend on your convictions. If you'd really like to see the Democratic Party grow in Arkansas, maybe get together with people and use what you've got to do fundraisers. If you just can't stand the Arkansas Democratic politics at all, maybe you want to give to a national organization for a louder and broader message. I just give $25 here and there as the mood strikes me. I even gave $10 to Al Sharpton because he said the "I" word during the primaries. He should always be remembered as the one who said it first!

3. Yeah, I would...
..love to see the Democratic Party grow in Arkansas. It is the lesser of two evils at this point. And, at this point, the lesser of two evils is good enough for me. What other viable option do we have? None, as I see it.
I sometimes feel that Arkansas is a lost cause. The majority of this rural population is too focused on "moral issues" that they mistakenly think that the Republican Party really cares about.
