School of the 21st Century grants of $150,000 each are available to churches or faith-based groups that have or want to start afterschool programs. This can include tutoring, mentoring, or other after-school programs. For information, contact Dee Cox of the Arkansas Department of Education at 501-682-4379.

Faith-based organizations are invited to apply for $10,000 grants from the Arkansas Department of Education, which has received funding from the Corporation for National and Community Service for the School-Based Learn and Serve America Program. Organizations do not have to have a 501(c)(3) to qualify.
