AZ Dems - Tell the Dem Chair how to vote for DNC Chair
AZ Dem Chair: TELL ME HOW TO VOTE
Tue Jan 18th, 2005 at 19:55:42 PST

The Arizona Democratic Party, in the next step of what seems to be a renaissance in their dedication to grassroots organizing, has asked their core volunteers and activists to tell the state chair how to vote for DNC chair.

In a letter posted online and emailed out as a part of their weekly newsletter Chairman Pederson (who reportedly is considering a bid for US Senate in '06) shows that he understands the obvious fact (to us) that the folks on the ground may have a better understanding of the direction the party should take then those usually consulted by someone in his position. From the letter ...

"Arizona has six voting members at this important meeting but they must convey the thoughts of a diverse party. Because there is so much at stake, I am inviting you to share your thoughts on where we should be headed as a Party and the kinds of qualities you would like to see in our next DNC Chair....."
