Alaska actually has more Independents than any other party..

But... like Texas, it's a huge OIL state. Pro-drilling Democrats do very, very well up here.. But pit an anti-drilling candidate with a pro-drilling candidate and guess which one will win?

5. Yes, it was very nice

and good to see so many people come out in the rain. We had so many honks and thumbs-up, I couldn't believe it. This is the third demonstration I've made it out for this year, and every time we get more support. I'm lovin' it (apologies to McDonald's). :)
