Lisa Murkowski was one of 20 Senators
who refused to cosponsor the apology for the Senate's refusal to pass the anti-lynching law.

WHAT THE HELL WAS SENATOR PRINCESS THINKING?

1. I don't know. She certainly defiles the fine name of LisaM
pisses me off (and I don't like her father, eiter.)

3. I called both Anchorage and DC to give her the heads up. No dice.
I will let you know what she sends in reply. I always demand a paper reply.

6. I saw one on the Guardian Unlimited talk boards. They had a thread
Edited on Mon Jun-20-05 11:15 PM by Ken Burch
discussing the resolution and who did and did not support it.

However, it wasn't there when I went back. After a Google search, I found the list on a white supremacist website(and am now spraying my keyboard, monitor and stack with disinfectant after stumbling into such a poisonous place)

Anyway, here's the list.

Lamar Alexander (R-TN)
Robert Bennett (R-UT)
Christopher Bond (R-MO)
Jim Bunning (R-KY)
Conrad Burns (R-MT)
Saxby Chambliss (R-GA)
Thad Cochran (R-MS)
Kent Conrad (D-ND)
John Cornyn (R-TX)
Michael Crapo (R-ID)
Michael Enzi (R-WY)
Chuck Grassley (R-IA)
Judd Gregg (R-NH)
Orrin Hatch (R-UT)
Trent Lott (R-MS)
Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
Richard Shelby (R-AL)
John Sununu (R-NH)
Craig Thomas (R-WY)
George Voinovich (R-OH)

19 Republicans and 1 Democrat

10. Those are the names of the Senators
who refused to co-sponsor the resolution.

It puts Kent Conrad and Our Lil' Lisa in the same group with Trent Lott and That Cochran.

15. I thought I read somewhere that LM was just late signing on...
...with the apology because I was rather disturbed when I saw her on this list of hold-outs, too, and then was later relieved to see that she was off the list. I'm not making excuses for her, either, but I believe she may be being maligned here. RV, be sure to let us know when you hear.

17. Dunno if Murky ever signed on..
But Conrad was one of the sponsors of the bill. He just didn't happen to be in DC the day it came up for a vote, but he flew in and voted the next morning.

He can be removed from the list :) ...As far as Murky, she doesn't vote by her conscious or by what the residents of Alaska want... She votes by how she can cater to King Monkey Boy. :puke:

18. I got a note from Senator Princess saying
she DID, in fact, sponsor the resolution.

If this is correct, I retract all I said about her. On THIS piece of legislation, anyway.
