I was UAW for many years, and we worked alongside IBEW workers ...

Its GREAT to see Labor grabbing on to SOMETHING of value today .. it is always so down and negative for Labor of late ...

2. This is great news!

I love how they stressed the pro-family and pro-working people fact. Too often the pro-family stuff is hijacked by the right when it's really all just talk while it's actually we on the left who walk the walk.

:hi: It's the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers that bought KUDO radio and will allow Chinook Broadcasting (Rich & Kevin McClear and their employees to run it) :)

Geez.. I thought they were doing great as it was when they put on a fundraising 1st birthday party, and they sold out the entire Fly-by-Night Club. But having the IBEW will mean they can really grow, and can FINALLY insert local programming (and ditch Jack Frost) into the line-up.

KUDO plays a combination of Air America programming, along with the network that Ed Shultz is... was?... on... :shrug:

Looks like Big Eddie Schultz will be moving forward also!! :bounce:

The two radio executives who made (of all people, Rush Limbaugh) famous.. are now focusing their efforts on Ed Schultz! And why not?? His programming is spreading like a wildfire!

Blue.. Jack Frost said that as his campaign for mayor heats up (LOLLLLLLL :spray: ..oops, sorry) .. anyway.. he says as it gets closer, he'll be resigning from his radio program due to a conflict of interest.

Why it's a conflict "then" and "not now" .. who knows?

Cleofus.. Gotta great idea! In addition to all your duties at your station, maybe you could also do a program on 1080 ;) ?? Pleeeeeease? ~~~You'd be AWESOME!~~~

Steve ~ you're right!! I've seen a lot of people write into the KUDO blog asking (pleading) that they run Randi on a full-time basis on that station.

They do have her on there, but not live :( ..and only at midnight... and not every night of the week..

I was happy to see the Daily News giving KUDO some recognition ... and my husband says he's going to start listening again since Jack Frost will be off the air.
